Last year we started applying BACTIFEED Lagoon System into our then-crusted lagoon. In a couple of months, we noticed significant changes taking place. The crusts on the top and the solids on the bottom began to be dissolved. Odor was eliminated and the flush water for the housing sheds became cleaner. The nutrients from the lagoon water going onto the farm ground via the pivots are more available for plant use. When we had the lagoon water tested for salts and toxic residue from the chemical foot bath the results came back with very low salts and no toxicity.
